When I was younger my parents would jokingly ask why we celebrated ourselves on our birthdays and not our parents. For bringing us into the world, raising us, loving us, and the other million things they do. Turning 21, I entirely agree. It’s easy to thank people on your birthday for sending well wishes, so instead I’d like to thank everyone over the last 21 years that’s been there through the good and bad. Who has challenged me, helped me grow up, picked me back up, stayed in my corner, believed in me, and so much more. Yesterday I celebrated 21 years of being loved so good by the best people I know. I’m feeling incredibly happy and lucky and happy and thankful and humbled and happy. Thank you for 21.
